Mild, rustic italian variety. Fruity, fragrant aroma followed by a soft sweet oil on the palate, finishing with a light but lingering pungency.

The Oil
Also a mild style, the Robert Oatley Leccino has a sweet aroma with vanilla and almond tones. The palate has little bitterness, but finishes with a mild pepper pungency.
The Olives
The Leccino fruits darken early and quickly, so that at harvest time the skins are perfectly purple and glossy. They are a medium sized fruit, weighing on average 2.0g when picked.
